No Albin Andolshek for Crystal

WE DO NOT NEED ALBIN THE REPUBLICAN

We live in a City who votes nearly 73% democrat, yet our City Council has been controlled by far right conservatives for nearly 8 years. This is the year we change this. We need to keep incumbent Therese Kiser and elect Forest Eidbo to the Council to swing the votes 4-3 and get real change in our city. Over the past 10 years, there has been a strong and determined plan by Christian nationalists to take over the Council for their own personal gains and advancement of their twisted interests. Interests, which do not align with the vast majority of our community. This must be stopped, please be aware. Let's make Crystal human centric. Let's make Crystal council representative of our voting base. Candidates are "non-partisan" so it's easy to hide things like being super conservative republican when you don't have to disclose it. We've been hoodwinked by candidates before, and this is merely it happening again.  Albin is a good family man, but not the right candidate for Council. 

I created this page because I am a concerned resident, my name is Ryan, and I have advocated against past racist and homophobic aggressions by current and past Council members. I am not saying that Albin is either of these things, however he IS a high dollar contributing republican and we've been duped by several "non-partisan" candidates in recent years, and I am tired of it. I used this URL because, well, Albin failed to buy it and it's quite useful.

I am not affiliated with the incumbent, and this page is not endorsed or approved by her. She actually would prefer it went away, but it's not up to her thanks to our constitutional rights to advocate for what we believe in. Half of city hall believes LGBTQ folks belong in hell and that racism isn't real. I made this page as a concerned citizen, because I have been harmed by the hate speech of the Mayor and other council members. It's time people hear about the this and ensure they are no longer duped by candidates being able to hide their affiliations behind being "non-partisan". I strongly believe Albin will only continue to enable the Mayor who loves to perpetuate hate against BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community members. Since Trump has been in office, Albin has donated more than $2,700 to the GOP. Yes, this page is annoying to some, but why not consider why an ordinary person would go to such a length to make YOU aware of their opposition. I'm tired of being patient and hoping people see through the hoodwink. This is one of the ways I am making my voice heard.

In recent years it's been evident that our City Council has been taken over by a planned and deliberate effort of partisan politics by far right Republican persons e.g. Mayor Adams, CM Parsons, CM LaRoche, CM Kolb, CM Banks and CM Deshler. It is time we put a stop to the far right infiltration of our City Council that is striving to white wash our town and ensure it's a Christian haven for white cis-gender straight community members of the Twin Cities only. We are Minnesotans. We are diverse. We are people lovers. We believe in equality. These are values you must stand behind this election.

Despite the words that are being said to try and display being a moderate family man, the $2,700+ in recent months and years donated to the Republican party and candidates shows us that Albin is not like the majority of us in Crystal. He is a hardcore republican who is active in ensuring their horrible policies come to fruition at all levels of government. What else do we know about hardcore republicans? They bring hardline stances that discredit and oppose minorities in our community. We already have a Mayor who refuses to recognize community concerns regarding equity, equality, diversity and belonging. We do not need more folks like him on the Council. And that is the fear if we get hoodwinked yet again.

Out of respect for the incumbent I removed some information about her on this page, but please take time to go check out her website and CCX interview as she is the only other candidate in the race. And she is community centric, and not a staunch republican or libertarian. This election matters too much to flip the control of our Council to 4-3 to not vote for those we know will support resident and human centric policies that will make our community amazing again.
